Meet Dr. Greene
Throughout my two decades of medical experience, mental health and wellness have always been at the center of my approach. Over the past couple of years, I have led the creation of a national telepsychiatry program. Now, I am excited to be putting mental health at the forefront of my own private practice.
I received my medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed my residency in Internal Medicine at New York University. I am board-certified in Internal Medicine and recently completed a Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of California at Irvine. I received my B.A. in English from Columbia University.
I worked for two decades as an Assistant Professor at Stony Brook Medicine where I pioneered training in Lifestyle Medicine, shifting the paradigm of conventional medicine to address the root causes of disease.
I now focus almost exclusively on psychiatry. I embrace a holistic approach to mental health - considering relaxation, fun, nutrition, and movement as integral to a healthy and happy spirit. Additionally, I consider medication an important stepping stone to empowering my clients to live the lives they envision for themselves.
I have two kids who have recently graduated college. I am currently living in New York City with my partner and our adorable puppy, Bear. In my free time, cycling, tennis, caring for my many indoor and outdoor plants, and drumming are my ways of staying grounded.
